MODELITO

The Future of Expressive 3D Design

We're thrilled to introduce MODELITO, a powerful new language and framework designed to revolutionize how we create and manipulate 3D models and shaders. Born from a diverse international collaboration, MODELITO combines cutting-edge technology with a human-centered approach to 3D design.

Core Design Philosophy

Self-Documenting by Design

MODELITO's syntax is intentionally crafted to be intuitive and memorable, allowing developers to focus on creativity rather than syntax. Our design principles emphasize:

  • Developer Happiness: A joyful, flow-inducing development experience
  • Relationships Over Numbers: Focus on component relationships rather than raw coordinates
  • Progressive Complexity: From simple shapes to complex designs with ease
  • Composability: Components that work together seamlessly

Technical Excellence

Advanced Architecture

MODELITO leverages proven BREP kernels for precise geometric operations while providing a high-level abstraction layer. Our "explicit armatures" approach bridges the gap between basic shapes and complex designs through an intuitive structural skeleton system.

Cross-Platform Shader Support

While GLSL is our primary target, MODELITO is designed with shader portability in mind, making it easy to work with WGLSL, HLSL, MSL, and other shader languages.

Our Values

Technology with Purpose

We believe in using technology to make a positive impact. MODELITO is being used for:

  • Medical applications like bone implants and prosthetics
  • Sustainable design and material optimization
  • Humanitarian engineering solutions
  • Custom manufacturing and digital fabrication

Inclusive Innovation

MODELITO is proudly developed by an international team from Mexico, Norway, Italy, and the USA. We're committed to building an inclusive community that welcomes creators from all backgrounds.
